Bentota Beach

Bentota Beach is located on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is 64km from Colombo, around 1hr 30min by road, which is quite the scenic drive. One fun fact about Bentota is that it got its name from a mythical story that claims a demon named ‘Bem’ ruled the river bank or tota.
